Alkhemystudio.com (“Site”) is owned and operated by ALKHEMY STUDIO LLC, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Please read the terms and conditions carefully before accessing or using our website. By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from the alkhemystudio.com website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms and Conditions. You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE. United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.

We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.

TERMS OF SALE

When you place an order from the alkhemystudio.com website, you will receive a confirmation email with a receipt of your purchase and details of your order. Once your product is ready to be dispatched, you will receive a follow up email with relevant shipping details.

By placing an order with us, you are (i) offering to purchase a product, (ii) representing that you are of legal age to form a binding contract, and (iii) representing that all information you provide to us in connection with such order is true and accurate and you are an authorized user of the payment method provided. The receipt by you of an order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of an order. We retain the right to refuse any order request made by you.

Prior to our acceptance of an order, verification of information may be required. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, modify or decline your order, or any portion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation from us, for any reason whatsoever. We reserve the right to limit the number of items ordered and to refuse service to you without prior notification. In the event that an item lists an incorrect price, either due to typographical or other error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order placed for the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order is being or has processed. If payment has already been made or if your account has already been charged for the purchase and the order is cancelled, we will credit your account in the amount of the incorrect price.

PRICING

Prices on the website are displayed in AED.

Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards will be accepted for payment and be charged in AED. When you purchase using a payment card denominated in a different currency to AED, the payment will be subject to the currency exchange rate applied by your card issuer at the time your payment is completed.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes are valid only in accordance with their terms, until the date stated, can be used only once, are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, sale or promotion.

GIFT MESSAGES

The gift message service is provided for your own personal and non-commercial use only.

The gift message you instruct us to send on your behalf to a third party will not contain anything which could be construed as harassing, threatening, vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist or which may cause embarrassment or distress to any person or which is otherwise unlawful or objectionable.

You will not impersonate any person, including but not limited to any of our employees or customers.

You are entirely responsible for the text and other content of your gift message and we accept no liability for any such content.

We do not pre-screen messages, but may monitor content from time to time for the purpose of guarding against unlawful or inappropriate gift message.

We have the right to refuse to send messages and to terminate access to the gift message service at any time and without liability to you.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We offer worldwide shipping on all orders through DHL. All purchases are packaged and dispatched within two business days from the Alkhemy Studio in Dubai, UAE.

All UAE deliveries are processed within 3-5 business days. International delivery times vary between 5-7 business days. Please note, that international deliveries sometimes face courier, customs-related and/or other delays and we cannot be held responsible for this.

All Local deliveries will cost AED 25.

International shipping costs will be calculated at check out. These charges will vary depending on your location and the total weight of the order.

Weight of delivery is recorded prior to shipment. Weight of shipment can be verified against weight of underlying contents of each delivery. Weight of each delivery is recorded to serve as proof of contents of each underlying package. If two items are ordered at one time, they will be packaged together. When more than one item is ordered at a time, the items will all be shipped together in the same delivery box. Once we have dispatched the box, the corresponding weight of the parcel can be verified by the customer. Changes to the contents after dispatch are not liable by us provided that we can give the customer proof of the weight on dispatch.

Please note that this is a special request, and while we will do our best to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee there will be no courier or customs-related delays.

When your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your delivery tracking number. You can track your package on www.dhl.ae.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers can cancel their order within 24 hours; refunds will be made back to the payment solution used initially by the customer. Please allow for up to 45days for the refund transfer to be completed.

Please note that if your order has been shipped you will no longer be able to cancel the order, and will have to follow our returns policy. 

TAXES AND DUTIES

Deliveries outside of the UAE may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and other fees levied by the destination country. All orders are delivered duties unpaid and all import taxes, duties and customs fees as well as compliance with the laws and regulations of the destination country, are the customer's responsibility.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Due to the current situation with Covid-19 and ALKHEMY's commitment to maintaining a safe work environment in our studio there will be a mandatory 72 hour hold on all returns prior to processing. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe work environment.

At Alkhemy Studio, we are dedicated to offering the highest level of quality and service. If for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your purchase on our website, you can request a return or exchange for up to 14 days from the date of delivery of your order by emailing us at info@alkhemystudio.com. Please indicate clearly the reason for your return with as many details as possible.

Please note that all refunds will be made through the original mode of payment only and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.

To ensure that an item you have purchased is eligible for return or exchange, please ensure that it is unworn, unwashed and undamaged. Any items you would like to return or exchange must have all original tags still attached and must be returned carefully packed in the original product packaging.

We strongly recommend when returning items to us you use recorded or special delivery that insures you for the value of the goods as we are unable to refund items which are lost in the post. All goods shall remain your responsibility until we receive them.

ARRANGE AN EXCHANGE

We have set up an easy exchange process that allows you to exchange your item up to 14 days from the date of delivery of your order.

To exchange an item, get in touch with us on info@alkhemystudio.com and we will guide you through our exchange process.

We will accommodate an exchange for items purchased on alkhemystudio.com the same style in a different size or colour. For a different style, please return your original item(s) and place a new order online separately. Exchanges are only processed upon receipt of returned item(s) and are based on stock availability. Exchanged items are shipped free of charge on both domestic and international orders (orders being shipped to customers). A maximum of one exchange per item will be allowed.

Once the exchange item is received to the Alkhemy Studio, we will send out your exchange request as soon as possible while notifying you with new tracking. Alkhemy Studio covers exchange shipping free of charge on domestic orders only on packages being sent back to Alkhemy Studio.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item has arrived damaged or incorrect. If you request a refund, you will be refunded for the price of the item purchased but not the cost of shipping.

PAYMENTS

All web store payments are processed through our secure online payment gateway.

Our payment gateway accepts all major credit and debit cards including VISA, MasterCard, as well as payments from online banking platforms SADAD (for bank payments from Saudi Arabia) and NETBANKING (for bank payments from India).

PERMITTED USE

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms. The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

YOUR ACCOUNT

If you use alkhemystudio.com you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account from any devices, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. The Site shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, in any way for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of, or in connection with, your failure to comply with this section.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY

In no case shall Alkhemy Studio, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our customers. Alkhemystudio.com will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties. All credit/debit cards’ details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties. Information provided by a customer will only be used to service your order and to stay in touch via our newsletter. We will disclose your Delivery information to third parties for order tracking purposes or process your check or money order, as appropriate, fill your order, improve the functionality of our site, perform statistical and data analyses deliver your order and deliver promotional emails to you from us.

Any information we collect is to ensure that we are able to fulfil your requirements and provide a hassle-free shopping experience.

Alkhemystudio.com assumes all sales are made to persons over the age of 18. Minors are not permitted to use the alkhemystudio.com website or services, and alkhemystudio.com requests that minors under the age of 18 not submit any personal information to the website.
